Project Overview:
You will be independently responsible for the smooth transition and ongoing development of key software solutions that support global manufacturing processes. This is a long-term project with the initial phase focusing on knowledge transfer and documentation. You will also help identify technical debt, propose improvements, and eventually implement enhancements in the next phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of legacy software systems built in C# (.NET 4.8) and work closely with the client to ensure a smooth transition.
- Analyze, document, and provide technical solutions.
- Collaborate with teams in Slovakia and Germany, with remote access to testing machines.
- Create technical documentation covering the current codebase and system architecture, and provide improvement suggestions.
- Work with a focus on physics-based processes directly implemented in the code.
- Opportunity to gain insights into the physics of sound – a bonus for those interested in how sound works.
- Ensure system stability, identify weaknesses, and recommend optimizations.
Requirements:
- Experience with C#, .NET
- Experience with WPF
- Proficient in working with Microsoft SQL
- Comfortable working with code documented in German.
- Strong communication skills for client collaboration
- A proactive mindset for improving and modernizing systems.
Nice to Have:
- ASPX, JavaScript, TortoiseSVN
- Interest in the theory of sound and its technical implementation.
- Experience with manufacturing process control and data-driven systems.
The salary ranges from 2200 EUR per month. The final salary conditions depend on the candidate’s knowledge, qualifications, and motivation, or on the specific project and position.
