We are seeking an experienced, accomplished, and ambitious Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the Custom Software Development industry. In this pivotal role, you will drive our expansion into new markets and customer segments in Denmark.

If you have a strong background in new business development within the Denmark tech industry, especially in Custom Software Development, and are eager to contribute to a growing organization, this opportunity could be an excellent fit for you!

This position is contract-based.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends. Stay updated on technological advancements and industry developments impacting the software development sector.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels. Employ AI and innovative approach to expand our reach and uncover new opportunities both online and offline. Identify and qualify potential clients who could benefit from our software services.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate in the development and implementation of a sales strategy that aligns with company goals. This includes setting sales targets, creating sales plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Proposal Development: Work with the technical team to prepare customized proposals that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborative Marketing Engagement: Partner with the marketing team to strategically position our services, define unique selling propositions, and identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Networking: Utilize your existing network and leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Xing, and other social media channels, along with emerging AI tools, to identify and engage potential business partners and clients. Tailor your approach to local market conditions and regional knowledge to establish the company’s presence effectively. Employ innovative strategies to expand our reach and uncover new opportunities both online and offline.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather client feedback and use it to improve our products and services.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, especially concerning contracts, data privacy, and intellectual property.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in tech sales with a focus on new business development, particularly in custom software solutions or related fields (e.g., SDaaS, IT outsourcing, Bodyshop).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT background combined with business and sales acumen.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and current industry trends.
  • Autonomous, result-driven with a history of achieving ambitious targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence client decisions.
  • Practical experience using various online channels and personal communication to identify and obtain leads.
  • Goal-oriented approach with the ability to measure and quantify weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activities.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and legal terms for tech sales and service agreements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
