As the Head of Delivery at Cassovia Code, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our software development projects. You will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating project timelines, ensuring the highest quality of deliverables, and fostering strong client relationships. This is a leadership position that requires a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes.
*As required by Slovak law, we state that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay starts from 4000EUR, depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the relevant fields.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage project teams to deliver software development projects on time and within budget.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of project managers and developers, ensuring effective resource allocation, motivation, and professional development.
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood, expectations are managed, and a high level of client satisfaction is achieved.
- Delivery Strategy: Develop and implement effective delivery strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimize project execution and delivery outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to coding practices, testing protocols, and project documentation.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and resolving conflicts to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to senior management and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within the delivery function, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional cooperation among project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software development projects.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentorship, talent development, and performance management.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies, with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and resolve complex issues under pressure.
- Client-Focused: Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
