As a Tech Lead GCP, you will lead the technical delivery of complex cloud and data projects on Google Cloud Platform. You’ll work hands-on with services like BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, and Cloud Functions, while guiding a distributed development team from planning to execution.
You’ll ensure technical excellence, mentor engineers, act as a bridge between architecture and implementation, and directly contribute to coding when needed.
This role is for a long-term project for a US client, fully remote, with an ASAP start.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or senior engineer on GCP projects.
- Deep hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, Dataplex, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run….
- Robust programming skills in SQL, Java, and Python.
- Proven ability to break down complex architectures into clear deliverables and strategically assign tasks based on individual skills to maximize team efficiency.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines, QA
- High English proficiencyNice-to-Have: Experience designing technical training or workshops.
